MEMORABLE TRIP TO LAKE BOGORIA

Lake Bogoria has always been on my travel list ever since and i finally got a chance to visit the beautiful natural wonder located in Baringo County. The Lake is known for its natural hot springs, geysers and flamingoes .

That day, i woke up and prepared ready for long awaited trip. As i travelled to the beautiful Savannah, I was amazed by natural scenic hills, mountains and savannah trees of which most of them had some hooks. I was so much curious about  fruits of the cactus and had to step out the car to have a taste of it.  

Along the way heading to the lake,I was able to see some savannah wildlife which looked so much distinguishing from those found on other places.

Just a few kilometers, i was there and was amazed by the sight of hundreds of flamingoes lining the shore .The air had a warm,mineral scent from the hot springs and steam rose from the ground.

The hot water spring that oozed from the ground got my interest as it was my first time seeing this. It was even more amazing when i saw some of the tourists boiling there eggs on the hot spring.

I could not hold this "boiling thing" and had to get some eggs from a seller and boil them.I took some photos of myself boiling the eggs for remembrance.

Thereafter i took a walk far from the hot springs to other areas along the shore. The flamingoes really looked beautiful as some flew up and down and i was so nervous and asked myself "why do they stay in warm water?"

The place was so nice that i wished to stay there for long but it was already late and had to leave. On my way back i learned that more drinking water and snacks is required in such place because the lake is far from the shops .

In conclusion my trip to Lake Baringo was unforgettable .Whether you are a nature lover or photographer or just sotrip to Lake Baringo meone seeking beautiful scenery ,this destination will leave you in awe.
